Hi,
Thanks for visiting my SOA blog, Hope you have found good and valuable information. This blog contains information & runtime artifacts for WebSphere products like (Websphere Integration Developer, Websphere Process Server & Websphere Message Broker).
The intention of this blog is to share information about SOA terms/concepts & PI for different components used in IBM SOA suite, so it will be a great help while brushing up the concepts in short span of time.
In our daily schedule we always work toward deliverables & use concepts/code snippet just like 'use & forget' basis. I realized this problem in my 8 yrs of working experience & thought of having a platform where I can pen-down my learning artifacts that's how this blog came into picture.
This blog will also includes references and links to good articles and blogs from internet.
Please click on the Blog link to visit posts & Ask me link for any queries.

Harish,
ReplyDeleteKindly for every topic mention whether its WMB or WPS.
For ex WMB related topic you can post as WMB - topic headline.
Same way for WPS as WPS-topic headline
Implemented Mr AG. Thought of doing same but you pushed me to do so now itself.
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!!!!
Hi Harish,Could you please tel me any site which explains about creating custom data handler for flatfile outbound adapters(BO to plain text file conversion)?
ReplyDeleteTry it out :
ReplyDeletehttp://publib.boulder.ibm.com/bpcsamp/v6r2/externalconnections/flatfilesAdapterv62.html
Thanks a lot.Tried it out.The output comes in xml format.Say if i jus need the value of a single attribute of that BO which is parsed to appear in that output file(just as plain text),what should be done?Is that feasible with Flatfile Outbound Adapters?
DeleteGo for BO map, do source to target BO transformation (Have only required fields in target BO)
ReplyDeleteI am not very sure because I personally have not worked on this stuff :(
Do let me know if you dont get it, will try it from my end.
No Harish.Could not get the output in text format.I guess this is something regarding the type of handler to be selected.Presently i am using XML handler.I have tried with Delimited and Fixed Width. But it dint work.If you have some suggestions, please do let me know.
DeleteI have exported the project interchange here which addresses your problem :

FYI : I have used business process just to have source to target BO mapping.
Hope this will help you.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteCan u suggest how to connect message broker to oracle?
@Arun : First you need to create ODBC connection n that you can do by going to
ReplyDeleteControl Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Data Sources (ODBC) --> System DSN -> Add -> WebSphere Message Broker DataDirect Technologies 6.0 32 bit Oracle wire protocol and then provide data source name, port and other details of your Oracle database.
Once you are done with these settings go to command console of MB and run this
mqsisetdbparms MB7BROKER -n Database1 -u MQUserId -p password and you are done..
Hi Harish,
ReplyDeleteYour blogs contain very useful information on Message broker . Thanks for posting.
Thanks Harshita, Keep reading.
